What a great idea! I love the mix of pixel art and photos, and the magnetic word poetry idea. I dragged words into the inventory area and clicked play in Screaming Hour, but it only played cicada sounds. Is it also supposed to have voices?

thank you so much!! yes, it's supposed to play voices, but depending on where you've positioned the words on the screaming hour screen it may take a while to start. if you happen to try again and still hear nothing, your browser/os/a screenshot of what you're trying to play would be very helpful for troubleshooting!

Windows 10, Chrome Version 91.0.4472.124 (Official Build) (64-bit). When I hit play, it plays the cicada sounds to the end, but no voices on top of that. I also tried Edge.

oh, you've actually got to move the words out of your inventory into the zone with the cicadas and the tinted background for the audio to be played!

Thank you!

this is awesome & a lot of fun to play around with! i love the different environments.

tech note: it works fine for me in browser, but i tried to run it in the itch app and it stuck on the loading screen. (the window is also called "p5.js example".) not sure if this is something you can fix or if it's just something with the itch app, but wanted to mention it in case. great job on everything though!!

ty!! and thanks for letting us know. i.... do not know anything about how the itch app works with browser games but i will investigate
